MOMS Offering Moms Support

About Us

We are a subsidiary of MOMS Club International, a non-profit organization of stay-at-home moms designed to offer each other support.. We get together a few times each week for kid-friendly activities, play dates, field trips, and other fun-filled outings designed to foster friendship and offer support between fellow moms and their kids. Lots of things make us different; one thing makes us the same: we all choose to stay home and raise our kids.

Our local chapter was founded in January 2006. Located in Western New York State, our district includes the towns of Marion, Palmyra, Minstead, Fairville, Hydesville, Port Gibson, Newark, Marbletown, Pilgrimport, Lyons, and Clyde.

Goals:

  • To provide a support group for mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their children
  • To provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers
  • To help children in the community
  • To perform at least one service project yearly helping needy children

Principles:

  • That women must be free to choose their personal path to fulfillment
  • That, for women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling full-time job
  • That a family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise the children often involves considerable financial sacrifice
  • That there is no one right way to raise children, but our members have a common concern in raising their children in a healthful way
